We have the latest TAG Heuer at an attractive price for the fake TAG Heuer Aquaracer series diving watch. They have an impressive waterproof performance of 300 metres and an automatic Calibre 5 movement based on the ETA 2824-2 (although there is also a sellita-based version). The watch’s name is Carbon Aquaracer, and the actual ring is made of lightweight Carbon fiber and black PVD steel, while the case itself is made of grade 5 titanium and is also PVD coated. The watch comes in three different versions, and their variations are reflected on the dial, each with a carbon print and rose gold, yellow or blue embellishments.
It’s the classic stealth of a modern TAG Heuer replica watches design, and I’m a fan of holistic aesthetics, though I wonder how clear the watch would be if used in depth: the carbon fiber dial pattern seems to have a camouflage effect, at least for me. However, bright yellow, bright blue and the rose gold index seem to have somewhat mitigated the effect. The watch isn’t actually made of carbon fibre – it’s just part of the ring. The dial is carbon only, and the case is made of PVD titanium. It does raise questions about why the word “carbon” is so prominent in the name of the watch, but it still looks like that part.
